John Dramani Mahama has formally sworn in Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe as Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
The ceremony, held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, officially confirms her role as Ghana’s representative in Spain, aimed at deepening diplomatic ties between the two nations.
In her new position, Ambassador-designate Baffoe will work to strengthen bilateral relations, promote trade and investment opportunities, and support Ghana’s foreign policy agenda in Spain.

Kulsoume Sinare Baffoe is a seasoned Ghanaian actress, model, filmmaker and public figure whose career spans nearly 40 years.
She rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s through modelling and represented Ghana at the Miss Model of the World pageant in 1990, where she was crowned Miss Model of Africa.
She later moved into acting, debuting in the stage production Theatre Mirrors and going on to feature in numerous films, including Out of Sight, Babina, Trinity, and Sala, among more than 50 productions.
Her work has earned her several accolades, including a Golden Actress Award at the Golden Movie Awards for her role in Sala.
Outside her entertainment career, she is also known for championing causes such as women’s empowerment, youth development and education, using her platform to drive social impact.
