The communications director of the 2024 campaign team of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dennis Miracles Aboagye says Ghana is on a reset, and the effects may be dire and positive in some cases.
In a Facebook post Miracles Aboagye revealed that illegal mining in the country is on an all-time rise, resulting in high levels of water pollution. He attributed this to the governance of the National Democratic Congress, stating that the party has “Galamsey kingpins”.

With a few hours to the presentation of the 2025 budget, Miracles Aboagye also said in his post that ” Fuel Price on the hike as prices of goods and services on an astronomical rise”
He also referred to the NDC campaign promise to waive academic fees of first years in tertiary institutions and claimed that first year students are experiencing an anti-climax.
“First year University students experience anti-climax after paying for their own fees despite the promise from the Government” the post read.
He concluded by expressing the need to contribute to nation development and keep the government on it’s toes.
“We have a country to develop and a responsibility to keep our government on its toes to fulfill its social contract with our citizens for the sake of the future of our country”, he said.
