World-famous YouTube philanthropist MrBeast has announced plans to visit Ghana later this year to lead a major humanitarian project aimed at transforming an entire community.
The popular creator, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, revealed that Ghana has been selected as the focus of the next phase of his global “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” initiative, a creator-driven campaign designed to convert online influence into real-world development.
As part of the project, MrBeast will be joined by leading content creators from around the world, including Ghana’s top YouTuber Wode Maya, who has been invited to help coordinate local participation and community engagement.
Sources close to the project say the initiative will involve the construction of essential infrastructure, including housing improvements, access to clean water, education facilities and healthcare support for the selected village.
The mission will be documented and shared across MrBeast’s massive online platforms, potentially drawing global attention to development challenges and opportunities in Ghanaian communities.
MrBeast is known for his large-scale philanthropic interventions, which have included building homes, drilling boreholes, providing free medical services and funding education projects in underserved areas across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Organisers say further details, including the exact location and timeline of the Ghana mission, will be announced in the coming months as planning advances.
