American singer Chris Brown has pleaded guilty to affray in connection with an altercation at a London nightclub in 2023.
Affray is a public order offence consisting of the fighting of one or more persons in a public place to the terror (in French: à l’effroi) of ordinary people.
The 37-year-old entered his plea during a brief hearing at Southwark Crown Court, which lasted less than five minutes.
His co-accused, Omololu Akinlolu, 40, a rapper known professionally as Hoody Baby, also admitted to the affray charge.
Meanwhile, prosecutors dropped the assault and grievous bodily harm (GBH) charges against both men, as well as a separate charge accusing Brown of possessing an offensive weapon.
Judge Tony Baumgartner adjourned the case for sentencing, which is scheduled for October 26, 2026.
