ECG attributes power outage in parts of Tema to faulty network
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Tema Region, has announced a temporary power outage affecting several communities due to a fault on its distribution network.
In a statement issued on Monday, August 3, 2026, the power distributor said the affected areas include Q-Farms, Jordan City, Santor, Aunty Araba, Agbeshie Laryea, Nelplast, Kubekro, Katamanso, Level 400 and nearby communities.
ECG said its technical team was working to locate and fix the fault in order to restore power supply to the affected areas as quickly as possible.
The company apologised to customers for the disruption and thanked them for their patience and understanding as repair efforts continued.
