Not even Kufuor compares to Mahama, he has our support, Asante Chiefs declare

Otumfuo Ahenenanom Hene, Nana Kwame Mensah-Bonsu, says Asanteman is solidly behind the newly elected president of Ghana, John Mahama.

Speakiing on behalf of a group of traditional chiefs called Concerned Traditional Chiefs, he said President-Elect John Mahama demonstrated his love for Asanteman in his first term, and not even, President John Kufuor could compare to him.

He cited projects such as Phase I of the Kumasi Airport Project and the Kejetia Market and said these were evidence of the commitment of John Mahama to Asanteman.

“As Concerned Traditional Chiefs we are thankful to God to the election of John Mahama, and we wish him well. We know he has good intentions, and we are solidly behind him,” Nana Kwame Mensah-Bonsu said.
