The Aglow Women’s Fellowship convened for their monthly intercessory prayer session on Saturday, dedicating the gathering to seeking divine guidance and blessings for President John Dramani Mahama and his administration.
Held at the Independence Square in Accra, the event brought together thousands of women from various denominations across the country. The prayers focused on wisdom, strength, and the grace of God for the President as he leads the nation through challenging times.
Addressing the congregation, the National Prayer Director of Aglow, Mrs. Gladys Asare, emphasized the need for continuous prayers for the country’s leadership. She noted that Ghana’s prosperity and stability hinge on God’s intervention, urging members to remain steadfast in their spiritual commitment to the nation.
The session also included prayers for national peace, unity, and progress, as well as intercessions for families, youth, and the country’s economic recovery.
President Mahama, in a brief message delivered by a representative, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support and prayers of the Aglow Women, acknowledging the critical role of faith-based organizations in nation-building.
The Aglow Women’s Fellowship is known for its consistent intercessory prayers for Ghana’s leaders and its contributions to fostering peace and unity across the country.
