Justin Kodua Frimpong, General Secretary of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has revealed that the National Intelligence Bureau(NIB) has besieged the residence of Rev. John Ntim Fordjour to arrest him.
Justin Kodua took to social media on Tuesday, April 9, 2025, to register his displeasure with what he described as a growing trend of political harassment. He added the hashtag, #SayNoToStateIntimidation.
This comes after Rev. John Ntim Fordjour’s consistent allegations that two suspicious flights landed at the Kotoka International Airport under circumstances suggesting possible drug trafficking and money laundering.
The government has vehemently dismissed the accusation explaining that the flights landed in Ghana briefly due to some technical issues which were later fixed. This development has however raised concerns about possible intimidation of opposition figures who speak out on sensitive national matters.
