Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has added a brand-new Lamborghini Urus to his luxury car collection, a move that has once again placed him at the center of public attention.
The purple Lamborghini, shipped from the United States, arrived at the Tema Port earlier this week before being delivered to his residence. Videos circulating on social media captured the musician celebrating the arrival by popping champagne with his manager as he received the keys.
Shatta Wale used the occasion to send a motivational message to his colleagues in the music industry, urging them to work hard and push their craft to greater heights. “If Ghanaian musicians will work hard, let them work hard and let us all survive like this,” he said, pointing to his latest acquisition as a symbol of persistence and success.
The purchase comes amid ongoing controversy over his earlier yellow Lamborghini Urus, which was seized by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in connection with a theft and fraud case. Shatta Wale has maintained that he legally purchased the car for $150,000 and has vowed to reclaim it.
Responding indirectly to critics, including his music rival Stonebwoy who had previously mocked him after the seizure, the “Ayoo” hitmaker stressed that his achievements are a result of over 25 years of hard work in the music industry.
The Lamborghini Urus, known as the world’s first super sport utility vehicle, combines luxury and performance, further cementing Shatta Wale’s image as one of Ghana’s most flamboyant and outspoken entertainers.
