Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards have announced a late change of venue for the 27th edition of the show, set to take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
The event, which was originally scheduled to be held at the Palms Convention Centre, will now take place at the Grand Arena.
The Grand Arena has long been the traditional home of the awards and is known for hosting some of Ghana’s biggest entertainment events, thanks to its capacity and ability to support large-scale productions.
Although organisers did not provide a reason for the switch, the decision effectively returns the ceremony to a venue with a strong track record for accommodating major shows and large audiences.
This year’s awards are expected to include live performances, key award presentations, and appearances from top figures in Ghana’s music industry.
With the event now back at its familiar location, fans and industry players are gearing up for what promises to be another exciting edition this weekend.
