Ghana’s Economic and Organised Crime Office has put three women on a public wanted list, accusing them of involvement in a scheme that allegedly caused financial loss to the state.

Named in the official notice are Esther Osaah Boateng, Rita Ewura Abena Appiah, and Mercy Korang. Beyond identifying the trio by name, EOCO has released limited details about the nature or scale of the alleged financial crime, describing the charges broadly as causing financial loss to the state.

The agency has turned to the public for help, appealing for credible information that could lead to the arrest of the three suspects. Those with knowledge of their whereabouts have been directed to reach out to EOCO’s Head Office, situated near the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra, any of the agency’s regional offices, or the nearest police station.

The declaration adds to a series of high-profile financial crime investigations EOCO has been pursuing in recent times, as the state continues to crack down on individuals suspected of misappropriating public funds.
