Justin Kodua builds momentum as Central Region women executives back second-term bid

Justin Kodua Frimpong’s campaign to remain General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has received another boost after a group of constituency women executives in the Central Region publicly lined up behind his re-election effort.

The declaration adds to a growing list of endorsements emerging ahead of the party’s national elections and signals continued support for the incumbent among sections of the party’s grassroots leadership.

The women executives, drawn from several constituencies across the region, argued that the party would benefit from maintaining continuity in the General Secretary position as it prepares for the 2028 general election. Their backing was announced during a campaign stop by Mr Kodua in Winneba, where he met local party officers as part of his nationwide outreach to delegates.
