GAF to begin documentation, body selection from Sept. 28
The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced a three-day Documentation and Body Selection Exercise for applicants who have qualified for the 2026/2027 military enlistment exercise.
The exercise follows the closure of online applications on September 23, 2026, and is scheduled to take place from September 28 to 30 at selected centres in the Northern and Southern sectors.
The GAF said qualified applicants will receive text messages containing details of the exercise, including their assigned centres and reporting instructions.
Those who receive the notifications are expected to appear at their designated centres on the specified dates and comply with all instructions issued by the Armed Forces.
In the Northern Sector, the exercise will be conducted at the 4 Infantry Battalion, Uaddara Barracks, Kumasi.
Applicants in the Southern Sector are required to report to the Nicholson Stadium at the Air Force Base in Accra.
The exercise represents the next phase of the recruitment process after the completion of the online application stage.
The GAF has advised qualified applicants to take note of the scheduled dates, designated centres and instructions as they continue through the enlistment process.
