The President, Nana Akufo Addo says the quest for power should not be seen as a call to arms but rather as a drive to serve the people.
Delivering his final Christmas message to Ghanaians, the President said “the nation’s peace was sacred and would not be sacrificed on the alter of ambition”.
He condemned acts of violence recorded at the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections and affirmed that the “rule of law will always prevail”.
“Let us ensure that every election deepens our democracy and fortified our unity,” he admonished.
