Every day I step out, I spend 100k in giving – Spyro
Nigerian singer Spyro has spoken about the financial burden that comes with being a celebrity in Lagos. In a recent Instagram post, the “Who is your Guy” hitmaker revealed that every time steps out he spends a minimum of a hundred thousand naira in giving.
The musician recounted an unpleasant meeting with a fan who rained insults at him because he could not provide the assistance the fan demanded.
Spyro also revealed that, the financial expectations celebrities had to meet cut across every aspect of life.
” If I enter restaurant, BILLINGS go de wait me outside, l enter church,same thing … Enter estate same ,carry phone enter online na same same … EVERYBODY wants to take but nobody de give you and nobody thinks of how you are fairing”, his post read.
Spyro expressed his respect for other musicians facing the same problem in the industry.
” S/O to every one of my colleagues out there going through this, ya’ll are the real MVP’s and I CELEBRATE”, he said.
