Napoli agree deal to sign Miguel Gutiérrez from Girona

Napoli have reached a full agreement with Girona to sign highly rated Spanish left-back Miguel Gutiérrez in a deal worth €18 million plus €2 million in add-ons, sources confirm.

The deal is in its final stages, with medical tests and travel arrangements set to follow shortly.

The 23-year-old, who impressed in La Liga last season, prioritized a move to Napoli despite interest from other top European clubs. Gutiérrez sees the Italian side as the ideal next step in his career, attracted by the club’s ambitions and the opportunity to play regular football in Serie A and European competitions.

A product of Real Madrid’s academy, Gutiérrez has developed into one of Spain’s most exciting full-backs, combining technical ability, attacking flair, and tactical intelligence.

His arrival will bolster Napoli’s left flank, offering competition and depth following recent departures and squad reshuffles under the club’s new management.

Final formalities are expected in the coming days as Napoli prepare to welcome their latest signing.

Barring any late complications, Gutiérrez will become the club’s newest addition in what is shaping up to be a busy summer transfer window at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
