Controversial dancehall star Shatta Wale has fired back following his recent arrest and detention by the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), insisting he fears no one in Ghana and vowing to purchase another Lamborghini within two months.
The outspoken “Dancehall King” made the defiant remarks during a performance at the Osu Hydout Pub as part of the just-ended Osu Homowo Festival, only days after regaining his freedom.
In a viral video from the event, Shatta Wale paused mid-performance to address the ongoing storm surrounding his seized luxury car and his legal woes.
“Masa, I don’t fear anybody in Ghana. Everybody’s mother! As I am standing here, I have boys who I live with in Osu and Labadi. I do music, and I do it the hard way,” he declared, drawing loud cheers from fans.
He went further to warn critics that any attempt to undermine him would only fuel his drive for more success. “They don’t want Ghanaian artistes to showcase what we have, but if they try me, I will buy another Lamborghini in the next two months,” he stressed.
Shatta Wale also clarified that his two existing Lamborghinis were acquired solely from the proceeds of his music career, dismissing speculation that questioned his means of ownership.
His comments come as EOCO continues its probe into the source and ownership of his luxury cars a case that has kept the musician in the headlines in recent weeks.
