A Hisense showroom located opposite the police station in Ashaiman was reportedly targeted by thieves overnight, with initial accounts suggesting that items may have been stolen from the shop.
However, further information indicates that the incident is linked to the recent demolition exercise around the Ashaiman Traffic Light area.
According to reports, some individuals affected by the early Thursday morning demolition allegedly believed that the owners of the Hisense building were responsible for the operation. In response, they reportedly stormed the premises in retaliation for the destruction of their structures.

Authorities have since arrested the suspects involved in the incident. Officials, however, have confirmed that no appliances or other valuables were taken or damaged during the incident.
