Nana Ama Bonsu enstooled as new Asantehemaa
History was made at the Manhyia Palace as His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II enstooled ɔdehyeɛ Nana Ama Bonsu as the new Asantehemaa. Amid traditional rites, drumming, and jubilation, she assumed one of the most revered positions in Asanteman, succeeding the late Nana Konadu Yiadom III and ushering in a new chapter in the kingdom’s rich heritage as chiefs, elders, and subjects gathered to witness the historic occasion.
