Special voting for Eastern and Western Regions today

The Electoral Commission will today organise Special Voting for security officers, electoral officers and journalists in the Eastern and Western regions after the exercise was suspended as a result of a ballot leak.
The leak occurred at the Checkpoint Printing Limited Printing House leading to the burning of all ballot papers printed by Checkpoint and the subsequent ordering of reprints with revised serial numbers.
Today’s exercise will set the stage for the main election on Saturday following the successful conduct of the Special Voting in the other regions last Monday.
