The 2024 general Ghanaian elections has officially come to a close at 5.pm with exception of delayed polling stations.
Election officials have commenced the sorting and counting of ballots at polling stations across the country, marking a critical phase of the electoral process.
Reports from various constituencies so far suggest that voter turnout was lower than anticipated, with some areas experiencing significantly reduced participation.
Despite earlier incidents of violence and tension during the voting period, recent hours have been peaceful.
As Ghanaians eagerly await the announcement of election results, the nation remains focused on the Electoral Commission’s efforts to ensure transparency and accuracy during the counting process.
