President John Dramani Mahama has named 40 new District Chief Executives (DCEs) to fill empty posts across the country. The list was released on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
The move follows the rules in the 1992 Constitution and the Local Governance Acts.
The President has sent the names to the District Assemblies for approval.
