The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has predicted thundery showers over parts of southern Ghana later in the day, with cloudy skies expected to persist from the afternoon into the evening.
In its latest weather bulletin, the agency said several locations in the southern belt are likely to experience rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, with the intensity expected to increase as the day progresses.
GMet further explained that the northern part of the country will largely see sunny conditions during the afternoon. However, it cautioned that some areas could later experience isolated thunderstorms.
The agency has urged the public to stay vigilant, especially in flood-prone communities and areas vulnerable to strong winds, as weather conditions may change quickly.
