Kpandai: One dead as two communities clash over farmland
One person has reportedly died following a clash between two communities over a farmland dispute at Kumdi in the Kpandai District of the Northern Region.
The incident occurred on Thursday, October 22, with reports suggesting that gunshots were fired during the confrontation.
A resident who spoke to Citi News said the land dispute had previously been brought before a court.
“The issue is about land for farming. It was even taken to court,” the resident said.
Security personnel have since been deployed to the area to restore calm and prevent further violence.
