NPP’s campaign has collapsed, they’ve resorted to lies – Mahama

The Presidential Candidate of the NDC, John Mahama says the NPP has resorted to telling lies because their campaign has collapsed.
He said, a campaign of lies orchestrated from the Jubilee House has been activated to misinform the electorate.
Citing allegations made he orchestrated attacks on the Otumfuo’s convoy during a visit to Techiman by the Ashanti King, John Mahama said, there was absolutely no truth in the allegations.
John Mahama referred to the revered king as “my father, my adviser, my everything” and assured Otunfuo and Asanteman that the NDC had a clear vision for the country and would work to bring more development to the Ashanti Region if elected into power.
He bemoaned what he described as the neglect of the Ashanti Region by the NPP and indicated that the NDC had worked to bring some landmark projects to the region.
He added that if elected into power, the party would continue with development projects started by the current government.
He cited projects such as the Afari Military Hospital, Sewua Hospital, Sofoline Interchange, Second Phase of the Kejetia Market,
Mahama said the NDC secured funding for both Kejetia Market Phase II and Kumasi Airport Phase II but these projects were stalled by the current government.
“Things have gone bad. In the space of five years the borrowed 11.5billion…now they cannot borrow anymore from commercial lenders because we have not been able to pay our debts,” he stated.
