The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced plans to distribute 2,580 pairs of PUMA football boots to clubs competing in the top three tiers of the nation’s football leagues: the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, and the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League.
These boots will be shared among clubs in the Ghana Premier League, Division One League, and Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League as part of an initiative to foster football development and ease financial pressures on club owners.
According to a statement from the Association, 540 pairs of the boots will be designated to Premier League clubs, 1,440 pairs for Division One League clubs, and 600 pairs for clubs playing in the Women’s Premier League.
Teams playing in the Premier League on July 1, Division One League teams on July 3, and Women’s Premier League teams on July 7.
The statement further entreated clubs to pick up their boots on their scheduled dates to ensure a smooth distribution exercise.
This initiative according to the GFA, reflects its commitment to supporting clubs and advancing the development of football in Ghana.
